My ExGF had shoes exactly like these and always removed them inside my home. After dating for a while I gave her a key to my apartment. One day she came over before I got home from work and when she heard my keys at the door she grabbed her shoes and purse and hid in the closet to surprise me, but as soon as I opened the door I was puzzled and called out her name to see what was going on. Disappointed, she immediately exited the closet and said, “How did you know I was here ? Don’t tell me….. you could smell my feet.” I felt bad and just didn’t say anything LOL
